We're looking for a driven, technically-minded Business Development Manager to own our go-to-market efforts across Egypt — selling directly to the manufacturers and exporters CBAM affects most, and building the commercial partnerships that accelerate our reach. This is a foundational commercial role for us in the Egyptian market. You'll work hand-in-hand with the founders, shape how we sell into industrial Egypt, and build relationships with steel mills, aluminium smelters, fertilizer producers, and cement plants — the companies that need our solution most. There's no big team behind you and no established playbook to follow. You'll be the person walking into a plant, sitting across from a production engineer or an export manager, and translating a complex EU regulation into a clear commercial decision they can act on. If you thrive in ambiguous environments, are comfortable talking shop with factory and operations people, love owning a pipeline end-to-end, and want your work to matter beyond the quota, this might be the right seat for you. This is a remote-first position based in Egypt, open to candidates with the right to work in Egypt. Cairo or proximity to Egypt's main industrial clusters (Greater Cairo, 10th of Ramadan, Sadat City, Borg El Arab, Suez/Ain Sokhna) is a plus given the travel to client sites, but not a strict requirement.
